Hami Melon, also called cantaloupe.
Cantaloupe belonging to the cucurbit family Muskmelon. Its botanical characteristics include a preference for sufficient sunlight and a large temperature difference between day and night. These conditions are conducive to the play of photosynthesis and the precipitation of nutrients, thus making cantaloupe high sugar content and sweet taste.
Cantaloupe is not only sweet, but also nutritious. According to the analysis, the dry matter of cantaloupe contains 4.6%-15.8% sugar, 2.6%-6.7% cellulose, malic acid, pectin substances, vitamins A, B, C, niacin and calcium, phosphorus, iron and other elements. It contains two or three times more iron than chicken and 17 times more iron than milk. The vitamin content of cantaloupe meat is no less than that of other fruits. In fresh cantaloupe meat, the vitamin content is 4 to 7 times more than watermelon, 6 times higher than apple, and 1.3 times higher than apricot.
