About Monk Fruit
Monk fruit is a kind of traditional Chinese herbal medicine. It is the dried fruit of the monk fruit of the gourd family,rich in nutrients, such as Vitamin, protein, mineral elements, dietary fiber and so on.
It has the effect of clearing heat, moistening lung and relieving cough, protecting throat and moistening bowel to help prevent constipation.
Monk Fruit Sugar
Monk fruit contains mogroside, which is a natural sweetener. Mogroside V50% is 300 times sweeter than sucrose, generally used as a food sweetener. The taste is the closest to sucrose of all sugar substitutes. Mogroside has good water solubility and strong heat stability. It can be compounded with erythritol to double the sweetness of erythritol from 0.6 times.
In addition, it also has its own medicinal effects, such as enhancing immunity, protecting the liver, anti-oxidation, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Because of its high sweetness but does not produce heat, it is widely used as a substitute sugar for obese people and diabetic patients.
